Pedal Power Training

Part of the Hampshire Schools Cycling Partnership

Pedal Power Training provides quality cycle training for cyclists of all ages and abilities, and for a range of cycling styles throughout Hampshire. From London's "Boris Bikes" to mountain bikes (MTB), and everything in between, cycling's more popular now than it's been for many years. Why? We think there are three main reasons:

Just though as you wouldn't dream of jumping in a car and driving it without any training, we feel that cycle training is vital for safe cycling and knowing the "rules of the road" and how they apply to cyclists. This is especially true for children, who generally aren't as aware of road dangers as adults are, and our cycle training includes 'Bikeability', the modern "cycling proficiency", which is taught at three levels for children of different ages and abilities.

Since the formation of Pedal Power Training in 2009, we have steadily grown to become one of the country's largest providers of quality cycle training. Ensuring we never comprise on safety, quality and service has been our main focus. Big doesn't mean faceless though. At its heart, Pedal Power Training is a family–run company, and all of our instructors are picked for being the best trainers in their field of cycling expertise.

In May 2012 we joined forces with The Mountbatten School in Romsey and British Cycling, forming the "Hampshire Schools Cycling Partnership". Its task is to deliver over 12,000 Bikeability places to children all across Hampshire.

Our team of fully qualified instructors have specific expertise in Bikeability, BMX, MTB and adult cycle training. We are also able to offer REC levels 1,2 & 4 First Aid courses at locations to suit you.
